Our aluminium laser cutting service uses a 6 kW fibre laser with automatic loading and unloading, handling sheet sizes up to 1,500 × 3,000 mm. Its power ensures consistent cutting speed and quality on medium and thick sheets, producing clean edges that reduce or eliminate the need for subsequent finishing operations.
We process both small batches, including individual prototypes, and repeat production runs. CNC programming and automated material handling enable us to minimise set-up times and maintain competitive costs even for small quantities.
We primarily process aluminium sheet in the EN AW 5754, 5083 and 6082 alloys.
We also accept orders for AISI 304 and 316 stainless steel, and S235JR pickled sheet, with thicknesses ranging from 5/10 to 200/10 mm.
Our in-house laser cutting operations enable us to guarantee fast lead times, high dimensional accuracy and maximum flexibility for both small batches and mass production. Each order is linked to the relevant batch of raw material and tracked within our GP90 management system.
Laser cutting is often the first step. LAMEC integrates CNC bending and ISO 3834-2-certified welding within the same workshop, so the complete component is supplied by a single supplier with a single point of responsibility.
